The PenFed Foundation Partnering with Canine Companions to Train Service Dogs

We are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Canine Companions, a leader in the service dog industry since 1975. This collaboration aims to advance the provision of service dogs to disabled veterans and other people with disabilities. Our nationwide campaign is designed to boost the recruitment of volunteer puppy raisers and advocate for more corporations to embrace the opportunity for their employees to raise service dogs in the workplace. Pilot, a yellow Labrador/Golden Retriever cross, is the face of our new initiative. He is being raised by The PenFed Foundation President Andrea McCarren, and Pilot is her sixth future service dog in training. Pilot and his raiser Andrea have given numerous interviews, promoting our new initiative and spreading awareness about the healing power of service dogs. Here are some of their latest appearances:
