Sophie Konopaske is the Events and Communications Coordinator at The PenFed Foundation for Military Heroes. In her role, she manages the full scope of event logistics, from behind-the-scenes planning to on-site execution, and serves as a key liaison with staff, vendors, and sponsors to ensure each event’s success. Prior to this role, Sophie supported the Foundation and PenFed’s Digital Team as a Digital Media Intern, where she contributed to social media strategy, analytics, and marketing initiatives. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Media Arts and Design from James Madison University. Sophie is inspired every day by the Foundation’s mission and strives to make each event a moment that uplifts, connects, and honors those who serve.
