Our Impact

Making a Difference One Hero at a Time

Our mission to improve the lives of military heroes is best told through 20+ years of success stories. Since 2001, we have been able to support more than 140,000 service members and veterans thanks to donors, sponsors, and veteran service organizations.

The 9:57 Project

This project provides young people with memorable leadership experience, inspired by the heroes of Flight 93, and facilitated by America’s Veterans. Veterans and students join forces to unleash a wave of positive impact in their communities through powerful conversations about history, activities that inform and inspire, and community service events that put leadership ideas into action.

Force Blue

This one-of-a-kind organization unites highly trained military diving veterans with the field of marine conservation. Rather than deploying for combat, these veterans are now deployed on missions to restore and conserve. The PenFed Foundation is proud to share that our grant to Force Blue will support their Veteran Scientific Diver Training Program, which trains veterans to repurpose their skills to assist with marine conservation and scientific studies.

CreatiVets

In the silence of unseen battles, CreatiVets brings hope through the transformative power of art. They offer a space for veterans to express emotions that words alone can’t capture. The strength, resilience, and courage these heroes exhibit move us beyond words. Working with CreatiVets is a reminder of the power of creativity to bring light to the darkest places, and we are so proud to support their life-changing mission.
