Partnerships
Together, we can help our nation’s heroes thrive beyond service through partnerships that create lasting impact.
SHEEPDOG
The PenFed Foundation for Military Heroes is proud to partner with the upcoming feature film SHEEPDOG, a powerful story that sheds light on the invisible wounds of war and the strength it takes to heal.
SHEEPDOG follows decorated U.S. Army combat veteran Calvin Cole (Steven Grayhm) as he confronts the realities of trauma, family, and redemption. Guided by a VA trauma therapist in training (Academy Award Nominee Virginia Madsen) and a father-in-law and retired Vietnam veteran (Emmy Nominee Vondie Curtis Hall), Calvin’s journey captures the struggle and triumph of post-traumatic growth — the process of rebuilding hope and identity after hardship.
Filmed in Western Massachusetts, SHEEPDOG is the first movie to authentically explore the path from trauma to transformation, echoing the PenFed Foundation’s mission to empower veterans and their families to rebuild, recover, and thrive.
