David Barondess brings more than 35 years of experience at PenFed Credit Union to the Board of Directors of The PenFed Foundation. Over the course of his career, he held numerous senior IT executive and leadership roles, providing strategic direction, technical oversight, and IT-driven operational management that supported and enhanced credit union operations.
He played a pivotal role in implementing and integrating enterprise systems that streamlined internal operations and elevated the member service experience, ultimately strengthening the credit union’s overall performance and delivery.
A dedicated advocate for the military community, David has supported the Foundation since 2005, contributing to partner development and fundraising initiatives that improve the lives of veterans and their families. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Virginia Tech.
