Tammy L. Schlutz

As Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Tammy L. Schlutz leads teams responsible for advancing growth, partnerships, and financial protection solutions for middle-market consumers. She oversees B2B distribution, marketing, corporate development, and venture initiatives.

Since joining TruStage in 2021 as part of an acquisition of the funeral planning business, Schultz has held several senior leadership roles, shaping go-to-market strategy, strengthening organizational performance, and elevating the company’s brand and culture.

Schultz brings more than two decades of experience from Assurant, where she held multiple executive roles, including Executive Vice President and President of Global Preneed.

She currently serves on the boards of the Filene Institute and the PenFed Foundation and is actively engaged in advancing leadership and innovation within the financial services industry.

Schultz holds degrees in advertising and journalism and industrial-organizational psychology and is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute and CUDE. She is also deeply committed to community impact through mentoring initiatives.
