Jennifer Baird is the Managing Director of Development at The PenFed Foundation for Military Heroes, bringing more than a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, donor relations, and strategic development. A relationship-driven fundraiser at heart, Jennifer believes meaningful impact begins with connection – taking the time to listen, build trust, and align donor passion with programs that support service members, Veterans, and their families.
Jennifer grew up in a military family and, as an active-duty spouse, raised two sons while navigating the unique challenges of military life. These experiences—balancing family life through long separations and transitions—continue to shape both her perspective and her purpose. Originally from the Midwest, she has called Alexandria, Virginia her home for more than 21 years. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys traveling abroad and settling in with a good book.
