Strengthening Veteran Transitions Through Purposeful Partnerships

The PenFed Foundation for Military Heroes is proud to support three impactful programs that harness the unique power of service dogs to help veterans navigate life after military service:

  • Patriot Service Dogs (FL) – Operation Rebuilding Bridges expands life-coaching for incarcerated women in the WOOF Prison Program, who train service dogs for veterans, fostering purpose and community for all involved.
  • Believet Canine Service Partners (MN, WI, IA) – Canine Service Dog Program provides trained service dogs to veterans living with PTSD, TBI, and mobility challenges, enhancing independence and mental well-being.
  • Working Dogs for Vets (TN) – No Veteran Left Behind equips veterans with service dogs and training that promote healing, resilience, and reentry into civilian life.

Each program brings a holistic approach to veteran reintegration—whether through job readiness, emotional support, or renewed purpose. Together, they reflect our ongoing commitment to backing community-driven solutions that empower those who’ve served.
