2023 LoudounStay Raffle Rules
ELIGIBILITY
PenFed Foundation 2023 LoudounStay Raffle (“Raffle”) is open to all residents, age 18 or older, of CO (Colorado), DC (District of Columbia), DE (Delaware), ID (Idaho), IL (Illinois), MD (Maryland), MO (Missouri), NC (North Carolina), NE (Nebraska), NH (New Hampshire), NV (Nevada), NY (New York), SC (South Carolina), TX (Texas), VA (Virginia), and WA (Washington). Individuals that are not residents of these states are ineligible for the raffle. Entrants, by participating in the Raffle, agree to be bound by these Official Rules and PenFed Foundation’s decisions. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. This Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
HOW TO ENTER
Eligible entrants may enter online beginning December 11, 2023, at 12:00 a.m. EST and ending February 7, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. EST. To enter online, entrants should follow the links and instructions to enter the raffle and submit the online entry form. Online entrants are subject to all notices posted online. All entries must be received by February 7, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. EST to be eligible. There is no limit on entries per eligible person.
PRIZE DRAWING
One random drawing will be held on February 9, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. EST at 705 North Carolina Avenue, SE, Washington DC 20003. Winner need not be present to win.
ESTIMATED ODDS OF WINNING
Actual odds of winning are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries. There are 500 total raffle tickets available for purchase.
PRIZE
There will be one prize for this Raffle. Winner will receive one LoudounStay vacation package. The prize has an estimated retail value of $13,250.00. The LoudounStay package will include the following services:
- 4 Days/ 3 Nights with 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms at a fully equipped Luxury Lodge Home
- Luxury Welcoming Gift Basket
- On Property Mobile Express Bar service
- Fully stocked amenities and coffee from a US Army Veteran Roaster
- Local craft beer and swag from Bear Chase Brewery
- Stocked refrigerator with bottled and sparkling water
- Professional sommelier experience and happy hour at the Lodge, includes wine (1st night)
- 3-5 courses chef prepared dinner, maximum 12 guests, includes 2 glasses of preselected wine per guest at the Lodge (2nd or 3rd night)
- Wine Tasting & Tour at Stone Tower Winery (2nd or 3rd day)
- Roundtrip chauffer transportation to/from winery
- Concierge assistance for personal expenses, i.e., grocery shopping upon request
- Complimentary white glove cleaning service (departure)
Winner may transfer his/her prize to a third party provided that the following conditions are met: (a) the transferee would have otherwise
been eligible to enter the Raffle; (b) the transferee shall be responsible for all costs described in these Official Rules; and (c) the transferee shall be bound by all terms and conditions of these Official Rules that are applicable to the Winner. PenFed Foundation will be responsible for paying federal and state taxes, to the extent permitted by applicable law, on the value of the prize. Winner is responsible for any other costs and expenses not specifically described above that are associated with the acceptance and use of the prize, including but not limited to any alcohol charges associated with these services.
BLACKOUT DATES
The prize offering will not be available for booking during any of the following dates:
- December 24 to December 26, 2023
- December 31, 2023, to January 2, 2024
- May 26 to May 28, 2024
- July 3 to July 5, 2024
Participants are advised to review the provided schedule to ensure their availability matches with that of LoudounStay.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
One randomly selected winner will be notified after 10:00 a.m. EST on February 9, 2024, by telephone or e-mail. Once notified, the winner will have five days to claim or forfeit their prize. If the winner forfeits their prize, a new name will be randomly drawn. Winner will be required to sign a publicity release, unless prohibited by applicable federal, state or local law or regulation.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By participating in the Raffle, entrants agree to release, indemnify and hold PenFed Foundation harmless from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions and any liability of any kind caused in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in or resulting from the Raffle or the prize. PenFed Foundation reserves the right to modify prize award procedures.

GENERAL TERMS
No refunds will be issued for raffle ticket purchases. The following people are not eligible for the Raffle: PenFed Foundation employees, PenFed Credit Union employees involved in the planning of the 2023 LoudounStay Raffle, and residents in all states where we are prohibited from selling raffle tickets, (only residents 18 or older of CO (Colorado), DC (District of Columbia), DE (Delaware), ID (Idaho), IL (Illinois), MD (Maryland), MO (Missouri), NC (North Carolina), NE (Nebraska), NH (New Hampshire), NV (Nevada), NY (New York), SC (South Carolina), TX (Texas), VA (Virginia), and WA (Washington) are eligible to participate in the raffle). Void where prohibited by law.
