Sally Salisbury

Administrative Assistant

Sally has more than 20 years of experience in administration, management, client services, and communications. She came to PenFed Foundation from a Real Estate Title Company & Law Firm where she coordinated client services.

Prior to that, here in the DC area, Sally worked with the private sector, nonprofit organizations, and multiple USAID-funded Global Health Projects in the realm of reproductive health & family planning, health policy, HIV-AIDS prevention, and strengthening of supply chain systems. 

During her television years in promotions Sally worked for the CBS affiliate in DC; and went on to the NBC affiliate in Tampa, Florida, during which time she received an Emmy award and four Addy’s for her station promotion campaigns.

Sally’s father was a West Pointer and served in World War II. Her brother-in-law is also a West Point graduate and her two brothers both served in the army. Her parents are laid to rest at Arlington Cemetery.

Sally is proud of her multi-cultural heritage.  Her paternal grandparents were Polish and came to this country through Ellis Island. Her mother was from Puerto Rico. Sally was born in Puerto Rico, baptized at West Point, and the family was assigned to Germany. They did two tours in Europe and stateside were at the Pentagon; Ft. Sill, Oklahoma; and Ft Monroe, VA.

Sally got her AA at College of Marin in Kentfield, CA, attended the University of South Florida, Georgetown University, and finished her college studies at George Mason Univ. in Fairfax, VA.
