Q&A with Washington Justice’s Aaron Heckman

In honor of Month of the Military Child in April, we spoke with Aaron Heckman, Washington Justice General Manager and son of an Air Force veteran, about the importance of supporting veterans and service members. Read on to check out the Q&A:

Question: What was it like growing up with a parent in the military?

Answer: “Growing up the son of an Air Force veteran, I was grateful for the opportunity the military gave to my Dad to complete his degree and set a foundation for our future.”

Q: Why is it important to support veterans and service members?

A: “For military families who have given so much serving the interests of our country I hope that work like what is being done through the PenFed Foundation can help ease the transition back to civilian life and express our gratitude for those who sacrificed so much.”

Q: Why do you support the PenFed Foundation?

A: “We are so excited for our partnership with PenFed, and are happy to be part of their ongoing efforts to assist veterans and their families in times of need. Organizations like the PenFed Foundation are doing incredible work to help house veterans, get them financially back on their feet, start businesses, and support their families.”
